Five Best Thai Funky-Favourite Health Cafes!

You can’t say that Thailand isn’t a foodies paradise, especially Rawai with its charming noodle shacks and sweet local family run curry corners. However, for the health nut, there was a distinct lack of options while I was growing up other than chicken and rice.

This all changed with the wave of fantastic health cafes popping up, each with their own vibe and of course their twist on culinary delights.

Here is a locals guide to the best spots and some must-try treats.

Wilsons Cafe

This comically named cafe has a “castaway” vibe with big comfy chairs and a vibrant scene. A hot spot with locals and tourists. There’s a reason people keep coming back for more! The smoothies are a definite go to, especially on the Puriti Program and you’re out and about and can’t get back to make your juice. Another addition to their menu is raw vegan cakes! So you can indulge guilt-free. I like to treat myself at least once a week. Ask for a Clean Chai and be prepared to be hooked.

A great way to get all your nutrients for breakfast and it tastes like a tropical paradise to boot!

Atsumi Raw Cafe

The food in this little cafe is a flavorful fusion of raw Thai vegan cuisine! Everything on the menu is well thought out with raw vegan sushi and pasta dishes. A fan favourite is definitely the raw vegan puddings with the likes of apple pie and cheesecake. For the discerning raw foodie, Anna and her team wow you with culinary delights.

The staff are incredibly friendly and they do the best green juice in the south of Phuket!

The Shack

This is a fitness fanatics dream. Situated right next to Naiharn gym, it is the perfect spot for your before workout protein smoothie or after workout avocado toast. You can mix and match your ideal menu, so it perfectly caters to you and your health needs. They do a delicious homemade granola with tropical fruits. Unlike Wilsons, the Shack is more fitness orientated so for you “gym bunnies” this is the place to be.

Unnis Naiharn

A new cafe that has just popped up at Nai Harn beach and to be honest it’s a dream come true! Nothing like eating beetroot hummus and avocados while watching the waves roll in on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The staff are lovely and the food is even better. The granola fruit bowl is a delight of colours and the lunch menu has the best-smashed avocado wraps!

It’s awesome to get your health fix so close to the beach.

The Greze Greek

This is my go-to cafe for my yoghurt fix. Believe me when I say that this cafe has the best greek yoghurt I have ever had! With a variety of yummy toppings from coconut nectar to dragon fruit, this is the place to go! They do awesome yoghurt mixes of blended banana with almond butter and yoghurt that gets served in a papaya boat. It also sells incredible kefir both coconut and milk. The best part about it is they can make it into a yummy smoothie (if you don’t like the taste of kefir).

They probably have the worlds best yoghurt.

Pure Prep Cafe

If you love to be organised and like meal prepping in advance they can do it all for you, with a mix and match meal prep menu.

Keep stocked up on meals you know are yummy and good for you.

These go to’s healthy cafes in Rawai and Nai Narn never disappoint.  All of the puriti family agrees!

If you are ever in Phuket give these unique and indulgently healthy cafes a go!

You won’t be disappointed!
